Carbon New Material Xiamen impressed at Chinaplas 2025, showcasing groundbreaking biodegradable and lightweight composite solutions. With 3M RMB in intent orders and 23 international partnerships secured, the company demonstrated its leadership in sustainable material innovation for automotive and packaging industries.
From April 15 to 18, 2025, the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center hosted a grand gathering of the global plastics and rubber industry. Carbon New Material Xiamen, a leading domestic advanced materials enterprise, showcased its latest R&D achievements at the exhibition, quickly becoming one of the most talked-about highlights.
Occupying a premium 200+ square meter booth, the company presented three major innovative product series: fully biodegradable materials, carbon fiber-reinforced composites, and specialty engineering plastics. Among them, the patented PBAT/PLA blend-modified material stood out, combining excellent mechanical properties with controllable degradation cycles, drawing keen interest from numerous industry buyers.
During the event, Technical Director Mr. Ji shared in an interview: “Our newly developed automotive-grade carbon fiber-reinforced nylon composite achieves 35% weight reduction compared to traditional materials and has passed verification tests by multiple OEMs.” This breakthrough product attracted procurement executives from leading automakers including BYD and Geely for in-depth discussions.
At the “Green Materials Innovation Development Forum” on April 17, Carbon New Material’s R&D team delivered a keynote speech titled “Breakthrough Applications of Recyclable Materials in Packaging,” showcasing their latest advancements in eco-friendly packaging solutions to unanimous acclaim from industry experts.
Exhibition statistics revealed Carbon New Material engaged with over 800 professional visitors and established preliminary cooperation intent with 23 enterprises from Germany, Japan, Vietnam and other countries, securing on-site letters of intent totaling more than 3 million RMB.
“This exhibition has not only generated orders but, more importantly, strengthened connections across our industry value chain,” commented General Manager Ms. Sun during the post-show debrief. “We will continue increasing R&D investment, with plans to launch five internationally competitive new products next year.”
Marking Carbon New Material’s second appearance at Chinaplas since 2023, the 40% larger exhibition space demonstrated the company’s rapid growth trajectory. With its newly established German office, the company is strategically positioned to expand European market presence in 2026, delivering enhanced services to global clients.
